[fa icon="plus-square"] Can we bring a guest?

Yes, every BioRender President's Club inductee can invite one guest. Your guest should be a spouse, significant other, sibling, or best friend. It should be someone that is an important part of your life. This should not be a co-worker at BioRender.

[fa icon="plus-square"] When must we RSVP by?

All qualifiers will be notified through email with a link to registration.  All registrations must be received by Monday, February 15th! Please make sure your RSVP is on time to secure your spot in the May trip.  

[fa icon="plus-square"] What are my flight details?

All flights are required to be booked through Executive Group Travel.  Upon completing the registration, a representative from EGT will be in contact within 72 hours with several flight options and once selected, will be booked for you and your guest. We ask that you please do not book a flight on your own.

Executive Group Travel will manage the budget for each attendees flight.  You will be held responsible for the difference of any flights that go over your budget and you will be provided instructions to cover that through Executive Group Travel.

Please note all flights will be booked directly in and out of the Cancun Airport (CUN) only.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Can I come early or extend my trip?

We have a limited amount of pre/post extensions. Please email Info@ExecutiveGroupTravel.com for extension requests at the discounted group rate. The group rate is offered 3 days prior to and 3 days after the event.

Once Executive Group Travel confirms your extension, you have 72 hours to cancel those nights. After 72 hours, you will be financially responsible to cover any cost of the cancellation of your extension nights.

  • Passport Required: For all attendees, a valid passport is required to enter Mexico. For those traveling from the US, please make sure your passport is valid through the end of the event dates. Please note that you are responsible to understand the travel requirements to travel to and from your home country. *This is NOT the responsibility of Executive Group Travel.*
  • The hotel is located approximately 30-35 minutes from the CUN airport.  You will be provided transport upon arrival.
  • Weather: For May , the average temp is 88° Fahrenheit.
  • The official language in Mexico is Spanish so remember to be patient!
  • Please drink only bottled water or water filtered at the restaurants on property!
[fa icon="plus-square"] Do I need a passport? Or Visa?

Yes, all guests attending the trip need a valid passport that does not expire until AFTER your departure date from Mexico.  

You do NOT need a VISA to enter Mexico.

Please make sure your RSVP information matches your passport. 

[fa icon="plus-square"] Can you make reservations for the restaurants?

We highly recommend making dinner reservations by using the resorts website and completing the reservation on 'Open Table'. If you do not pre-book reservations for your open night, upon arrival by visiting the Concierge Desk whocan assist you.

This is a casual trip, shorts/bathing suits and sandals will be worn for most of the event! 

For dinner at any of the restaurants on property the resort has a resort-casual dress code, including close-toed shoes. The resort asks that you please avoid the following:

  • All T-Shirts

  • Bathing Suits/Cover Ups

  • Flip-flops

  • Pool & Beach Footwear

  • Sportswear & Sneakers

The average temperature in Cancun for May is 88° Fahrenheit.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Is the hotel all-inclusive?

No, the Alila Resort is NOT all-inclusive, however breakfast is included during your stay. The breakfast buffet is served at Na Restaurant from 7:00am to 11:00am.

BioRender will be providing a resort credit for $500 per person ($1,000 total if bringing a guest) to help offset the price of food and beverage during the trip. This credit can be used across the entire Mayakoba property. If you venture off to one of the neighboring resorts, if you are able to charge the cost of food or drinks back to your room, the resort credit would be applied.

At the time of check out, the resort credit will be deducted from your total balance due. Any amount due after the resort credit is applied would be your responsibility to cover the cost of.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Is airport transportation provided?

Yes. When you arrive to CUN airport, please proceed through customs then pick up luggage and pass through immigration. Please follow signs towards the exit and make sure you completely exit the airport before looking for your transfer. It will be outside the airport, not inside. Please look for the BioRender sign held by AMSTAR once you exit the airport. 

For your transfer from Alila Mayakoba to the CUN airport, you must check-out from the hotel and meet the Amstar rep in the main lobby. At check out, you will be provided with a hotel checkout card, which you will need to provide to the bellman in order to depart the hotel.

If you extend your trip outside of the official event dates, it will be your responsibility to arrange and pay for airport transportation.

[fa icon="plus-square"] If the itinerary changes, how will I stay updated?

There will be two options.

1.  Download the Trip Plans app that Executive Group Travel sends you, it will be hard to survive this trip without it. It provides everything from hotel confirmation # to flight details to airport transfer information!

2.  The website will also have all updates posted before the event and during the event.
